Summary / Objective: 

QGenda is seeking an IT Manager to join our fast growing software company and manage our growing IT Team in Atlanta, GA. As IT Manager you will supervise, hire, and train IT Department employees. The IT Manager will be responsible for the vision of the IT Department and work with QGenda’s VP of Staff of the company's IT strategy. You will oversee all internal IT systems as well as all IT communication, procedures and documentation. You will serve as the primary source of guidance for the IT Department employees. The IT Manager will research, evaluate, plan and implement new technologies, both software and hardware, to enable our employees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new technologies
  • Plan and implement new software and hardware systems
  • Manage vendor renewals
  • Manage purchasing of IT assets and supplies
  • Manage inventory of IT assets and supplies
  • Manage provisioning/deprovisioning for On/Off Boardings, Access Changes, and Role Changes
  • Manage hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Manage internal network
  • Manage systems administration
  • Manage security awareness training
  • Support semi-annual security audits (SOC, FedRAMP)
  • Perform quarterly physical and system access reviews
  • Managing, Leading, Coaching & Developing IT employees

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ Years Experience managing IT employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience managing Google Workspace
  • Experience Managing MacOS Computers required (QGenda is 99%+ MacOS)
  • Experience Supporting Remote Employees
  • Experience with Ticket/Case Management
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (Jamf Pro preferred)
  • Experience Managing VoIP (Zoom preferred)
  • Experience Managing Video Conferencing (Zoom preferred)
  • Experience Managing Network Printers
  • Experience with Cloud Managed Access Points (Cisco Meraki preferred)
  • Experience with Network Switches (Cisco Catalyst preferred)
  • Experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
  • Experience with Audio/Vision Equipment preferred

 

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience.

 

Work Environment / Physical demands/ Travel Requirements:

  • Atlanta Based
  • Full-Time In Office
  • Occasional travel to satellite offices may be required (QGenda currently has satellite offices in Baltimore, MD and Burlington, VT)
