IT Help Desk Technician

The IT Help Desk Technician role includes the responsibility of troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues and requests within the company. As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will work on the front line to provide solutions to employee-related IT inquiries. The ideal candidate is bright and eager to learn. Excellent communication skills, patience, and great people skills are required. Experience in maintaining conference rooms, proficiency in teleconferencing, and familiarity with using GoToMeeting are preferred. Additionally, expertise in live audio/video set-up is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Resolve all Level 1 IT Help Desk Tickets and Drop-In Requests (Troubleshoot hardware/software, issue/replace employee IT equipment as needed)
  • Create IT Help Desk Tickets from Drop-Ins, Chats, and Emails (Goal is to automate most ticket creation)
  • Escalate tickets as needed to Senior IT Systems Administrator
  • Set up New Hire Desks
  • Manage IT Inventory (Put away new inventory, tag new assets, keep inventory organized, place orders with Director of Operations when inventory is low)
  • Complete Warranty Replacements (Docks, Headsets, Apple, etc)

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in an IT Help Desk role using a ticketing system
  • Fluent in English, US Citizen, & Excellent communication skills
  • Expert with Apple Computers and MacOS
  • Experience with Google Apps for Work
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
